Our Services

Employee Counseling

Individual employees and their family members can discuss their personal problems with a professional counselor in a relaxed, confidential setting. Phone counseling sessions can also be scheduled. Employee Assistance of the Pacific staff can help with a wide variety of difficulties including stress, job-related problems, marital and family issues, depression, anxiety, and alcohol and drug addiction.

Our EAP counselors, numbering over two dozen statewide, are all seasoned professionals qualified to practice individually. All counselors hold at least a master's degree in a clinical field such as social work, marriage and family therapy or counseling psychology. They have flexible schedules and will work with employees to schedule an appointment which is convenient.

Following assessment, the best treatment option is selected. Most issues can be addressed effectively through the EAP counseling benefit; however, in some instances, the EAP counselor may conclude that the most appropriate treatment can be provided through a private provider or community program. In such cases, the employee will be referred to one of our carefully screened referral sources. Legal and financial referrals are also available.

Employee Consultation

Employees may call and consult with a counselor regarding personal needs or concerns for which they are seeking information, but do not need a professional counseling appointment. Referrals to community resources and educational materials will be provided as appropriate.

Management Consultation Services

Supervisors may phone or meet with our professional staff to discuss personnel and organizational situations that might benefit from EAP intervention. The effectiveness of management consultations is enhanced by the on-going working relationship that is cultivated by Employee Assistance of the Pacific with your organization.

These sessions, which normally last thirty minutes, will be held at your work site and are scheduled to coincide with your employees' work schedules.
