Prospective Customers
Businesses everywhere are impacted when their employees struggle with problems -- either personal problems or work-related problems. Our company helps over 300 Hawaii businesses, large and small, take care of these problems so businesses can get back to business.
Our corporate clients use us to provide their employees with free, confidential counseling and robust work/life benefits (legal, financial, eldercare, mediation, and identity theft support). We also help companies manage risk, helping their substance-abusing employees, providing local management support and trainings, and offering onsite support after challenging disruptive events.
There are many reasons why over 300 employer groups across the state have chosen Employee Assistance of the Pacific to be their EAP partner.
AND, they stay with us! Over the last two years, we have retained over 99% of our corporate customers, and over 41% of our customers have been with us for over a decade.

We understand the importance of having an EAP provider that is LOCAL +
Hawaii employees don't call an 800 number in Chicago for help. They don't know local resources and issues either. We know the islands, the companies we cover, and our provider network -- they are not just names on a list for us. We understand local issues, needs, pressures, and resources, because we live here too! -
We ultimately help you get more value from your EAP dollar +
We work with you to co-brand our materials, customizing your organization a brochure so that your employees will see us as a partner, not just a vendor. Some EAPs reduce services to save money, or put roadblocks in the way of people getting help. We want your employees to use our service, and that attitude comes across. -
We provide a robust array of services +
In addition to the largest network of EAP providers across the islands, we utilize Hawaii partners for local eldercare, healthcare navigation, and mediation assistance. In addition, we have strong national partners for financial and ID Theft consultation, and referrals to local attorneys for legal assistance. All of our services promote the Well-Being of your employees, helping your bottom line! -
We support your managers, supervisors, and HR +
We provide support and assistance to your HR and leadership team, helping them positively resolve their most challenging issues -- whether it's productivity, attendance, drug and alcohol concerns, workplace violence issues, bullying, morale, or coping with Coronavirus challenges or Working From Home issues. -
We are available to our customers on their worst day +
with a strong, experienced Hawaii-based leadership team of corporate consultants as well as a strong, statewide network of counselors experienced in helping companies manage disruptive events and stay resilient. We know how to help executive leadership through rank and file employees recover from robberies, death, disaster, layoffs, and any kind of challenge your organization might face. -
We can partner with you for your organizational health efforts +
We can support your key initiatives and organizational changes with trainings, Well-Being materials, and HR/supervisor/manager support. We customize all trainings just for your company to support whatever direction is important to YOUR organization. -
We understand that today we must demonstrate ROI +
and are willing to help calculate the Return On Investment for our services in a way that makes sense to you. Our local EAP service has a track record of providing greater support than you may receive from a bundled/"free" Mainland-based EAP-in-name-only, and our satisfied customers understand the business case for our services.

Supervisors, in consultation with HR and EAP, may formally refer employees for EAP services when there are performance or behavioral issues. Limited information relayed to company about employee’s participation and attendance with signed release. |
Onsite trainings for supervisors and employees on a variety of topics, including compliance issues (e.g. Sexual Harassment, Workplace Violence, Drug & Alcohol), Communication, Stress Management, Mindfulness, Resiliency, Conflict, Skill Enhancement. See Training Catalog. |
Employees only utilize EAP services when they are aware of them. From employee and supervisor orientations to monthly supervisor newsletters to quarterly employee newsletters, along with posters, cards, brochures, we give you the tools to promote our services. |
In addition to providing materials to supplement any Well-Being or Wellness campaign, we can work with you to design a program tailored to your demographics to support almost any issue important to your company. Trainings and promotional materials may be utilized. |
We support those companies under Department of Transportation (DOT) federal regulations for “safety-sensitive” employees, providing initial assessment of the employee who has tested positive, develop an individual plan, refer to appropriate treatment or education, and re-evaluate them before return to duty. We also work with companies when employees violate their substance abuse policies, providing similar services. |
When critical events happen that impact the workplace (e.g. workplace violence, death by natural or accidental causes, robbery, injury, or even layoffs) we work with companies to provide crisis intervention and recovery services. We can provide executive consultation, group defusing and debriefing, and individual support to minimize emotional or psychological stress and facilitate team resiliency after such events. |
